Fish Ing. is a 2 minute animation about what we do to fishes (slaughter trillions each year). Since a lot of people still think fishes don’t feel pain, I tried to make them more relatable-with human bodies, houses they live in, studying at universities and having their own wishes, personalities and friends. A little food for thought is in the title itself (Fish Ing.- can be interpreted both as the violent act of fishing which happens to fishes and as in a fish being an engineer (Fish Ing.) – referring to title of academic degree humans get after finishing university. First interpretation separates while second connects humans to fishes.
